Edit various disk types

Convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk.

Convert to MBR or GPTDisk

You can convert basic and dynamic disks into various layouts (MBRor GPT).

It's possible to create up to 128 partitions or dynamic volumes on a disk having a GPT layout, without the need for

extended partitions.

To convert a disk into a GPT layout, right-click the disk, or under Action/All Actions, click Convert to GPT.

To convert a disk into a MBR layout, right-click the disk, or under Action/All Actions, click Convert to MBR.

Note: Changing a conversion into another layout can only be done when there are no partitions or volumes on the

original disk.
